Sure you thought the book was awesome (if not, please just play along anyway), but really it is just a precursor for the genius of Tanner Lex Jones, musician and wordsmith extraordinaire, who has taken each chapter of How to Become a Pirate Hunter and compiled an album's worth of thematically rich and musically diverse songs that would be the highlight of any creator's co-collaborating dreams!
Well before How to Become a Pirate Hunter ever made it to print--or even to a publisher for that matter--Tanner and his wife Amber went through early readings and helped with editing and other suggestions. From that time, Tanner (and his music recording team) has been stewing over and developing songs loyal to each of the book's chapters, yet also unique and original on their own. Tanner has collaborated with me in the past and it has truly been one of the most rewarding aspects of my creative process.
So it is with great pleasure, that I introduce you to one song of what will be a 14-track album. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do (but really, you won't, because no one enjoys this more than I do!).
